Salads The Red Onion salad, shown here, is just one example of
how easy it is to prepare a delicious salad that seems elegant. Most of the time, we make salad out of either Romaine or Iceberg lettuce, and add whatever goes with the meal. If you want to keep it simple, just buy a couple of bottled dressings, like a vinaigrette and a blue cheese or ranch, and pour over some lettuce. Keep the lettuce wrapped in damp paper towels in the bottom of the fridge so it will stay crisp. To add to salads, I try to keep some or all of the following on hand: tomatoes, green onions, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini peppers, whole and sliced, jalapeno slices, Feta cheese, Mexican cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Now out of those ingredients you can come up with a Greek or Italian or Mexican salad on short notice. Here's a list of the salads we have on site so far: Avocado and Shrimp Salad |
