Tartar Sauce

Tartar sauce is probably the most popular sauce to serve with fish, and has a flavor that all ages enjoy. Of course you can buy it in bottles, but in a pinch, or if you want to make your own flavor, it's easy to make it yourself.

Here's the recipe for Tartar Sauce:

    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
    3 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 teaspoon prepared horseradish sauce
    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 teaspoon Tabasco

Just mix the ingredients together and let their flavors become acquainted while you get the rest of the dinner ready. If you don't have one or more of the ingredients, make the sauce anyway. I've made it out of mayonnaise, mustard, and chopped pickles, and it's not bad. Invent your own formula. Bottle it. Get rich.
